This tri-port muzzle brake utilizes a perpendicular port design with added relief machining to maximize its effectiveness. The compactness and lightweight features allow for this product to be a near perfect compromise for both competition and hunting without sacrificing aesthetics. For best fitment, the counterbore will accept .980” at the shoulder. The brake will fit larger diameters also, but it must be timed in front of the shoulder.
Fitment requirements: This muzzle brake is designed to be used with an industry standard barrel thread of 5/8”-24 TPI Class 2. These have been tested over the last 5 years on many various factory complete bolt action rifles, semi-automatic rifles, AR15 and AR10 barrels and should thread on without issue.
In some instances, barrel threads may be matched up to a custom muzzle device where the threads are larger than a class 2 fitment. In the near future, Rhytec Industries plans to offer an option of this muzzle brake that accommodates Class 1 threads. Please call us or email us if you have any questions.
