Our port system has been designed and tested to maximize recoil reduction and still using a flat wall perpendicular to the bore direction. Note: due to the mass variance of thread tolerance within the industry, we offer two different class sized thread patterns. There is an easy way to distinguish your needs. If you have a factory built firearm, or factory made barrel such as Prefits fro certain bolt action and AR platforms, you want the standard Muzzle Devices. If you have had a barrel done by custom gunsmiths, or a barrel has been threaded based off of a muzzle device available in the industry, then you need the muzzle devices marked III, which is also available on the website.
